Great news! When we were in Kenya, the NGO (Nongovernmental Organization) Board approved the registration of Give A Child Life Kenya. This means that the organization is now a legal entity; we can open bank accounts, etc. It’s a big step forward. Here’s a picture of me with GCLK Board President Catherine Karugu and Board Treasurer Carol Mbugua holding our certificate of registration. Kudos to Carol, Catherine and our program director, Charity Mbugua, for following through with the process after we filed the papers last November.
